Madrid, Spain – October 29, 2018 – the foodcareplus team looks back at a very successful anniversary edition of the Fruit Attraction trade show in Madrid. This tenth edition focused on opening new markets and the analysis of transport logistics. For the coming apple export season, foodcareplus showcased their cross-dock platform in the port of Antwerp for fast deliveries into India. Furthermore, preparatory talks have been held with several market stakeholders for a citrus fresh corridor between Spain and Canada. The highlight was the launch event of the new Morgana apple variety developed by Belgian breeder Better3Fruit. The Kizuri cultivar will be produced in Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands by four partners, including BFV.
